Bon Art Pops Orchestra
BON ART POPS ORCHESTRA is a symphony orchestra composed entirely of women.
A ladies orchestra accompanies our final nights.
BON ART POPS ORCHESTRA is a symphony orchestra composed entirely of women. The idea of an all-female symphony orchestra was conceived when planning the concerts at the State Opera House in 2010 and 2011. However, it was not until 2014 that an all-female orchestra was created and the planning of further events and concerts began.
In the Bon Art Pops Orchestra we have only the most experienced female instrumentalists who play parts of classical, musical, film and popular music. The orchestra is also used as a studio orchestra, for example during the recording of records for Leona Machálková, Markéta Konvičková, Jaroslav Svěcený and other prominent personalities of our scene.
In 2017, BAPO was part of Michal Hrůza’s concert in Rudolfinum, which is also recorded on the album “Michal Hrůza in Rudolfinum”. Our permanent project is the musical final gala evening for the Sanremo Junior International Singing Competition, which can be seen every year at the Hybernia Theatre in Prague.
Bon Art Pops Orchestra has accompanied many stars such as:
Miro Žbirka, Helena Vondráčková, Michal Hrůza, Jaroslav Svěcený, Leona Machálková, Radim Schwab, David Koller, Markéta Konvičková, Marek Ztracený, Dan McCafferty, Janek Ledecký, Chinaski and others…
The orchestra can be ordered in any size to suit your requirements, either as a separate ensemble with its own programme, or as an accompaniment to soloists or bands of any musical genre. The orchestra can be used in configurations ranging from quartets, to chamber ensembles, to symphonic performances for galas, balls, events, corporate parties or birthdays and weddings.
More information about the orchestra can be found at our website.
